Field notes
How this desk holds the money, and how it comes back
The vault has an owner. The key in the browser pays gas and cannot withdraw. Profit above a small float returns only to that owner. If a screen says otherwise, the screen is wrong.

Two addresses do the work, and they are not interchangeable. The creator is the wallet you connect. It is the owner written on the vault. Only that wallet can withdraw, release tokens, or pause the agent. The trading key is created in this browser. It is the vault’s agent. It can swap back into the vault, unwrap wrapped MON the vault already holds, and deposit. It cannot call withdraw. A top-up of gas onto the key is a withdrawal the creator signs, to the agent address the contract already names. If the key in the browser is not that agent, the top-up does not happen.
The float is not a fee you lost
The key needs MON to pay gas, because Monad bills the limit and someone has to hold the coin. This desk keeps 0.25 MON on the key as that float. It is not a charge. It is the petrol in the car. When a trade lands, the fee is recorded at twice the network cost and pulled onto the key from the vault, by the creator’s signature, so the float does not slowly die. MON above the float is profit. Withdrawing it sends that surplus to the owner on the vault. The code does not accept a different destination. If the connected wallet is not that owner, nothing is sent.
The private key is not on the screen. The address is. You can send MON to the address if you want the float topped up by hand. You cannot read the key out of the page, and a swapped address in storage does not receive the vault’s money, because the contract’s agent is checked first. This is a hot key in a browser. A person who can replace the website can still ask the creator wallet to sign, which is why a surprise prompt is a reason to stop. The contract, not the theme, is what refuses a withdrawal by the agent.
Owner withdraws. Agent trades. Profit goes to the owner the contract names. Anything else is a bug, and it should not sign.
What you do when something looks wrong
Read the vault address and the owner on MonadVision. If the owner is not your wallet, stop. Read the agent. If a screen is offering to send the float to any other address, stop. Return of the position itself is a creator transaction: tokens to your address, and the vault’s MON out through the owner path, which does not take an address for the native coin because the contract pays its owner. After any trade, open the receipt. The limit is the bill. The output is the fill. The block plus two is finality. The rest of this desk is commentary on those three lines.
