Leave a staking receipt: aprMON, sMON and gMON are not spendable MON
The counter on My money moves because the receipt appreciates. The MON behind it does not sit in your wallet, and it does not come back in one slot. Here is what each receipt is, what the exit actually takes, and what the moving digits are allowed to mean.

A liquid staking receipt is a claim on staked MON plus whatever the protocol has earned, minus whatever it has lost. aprMON is aPriori’s receipt. sMON is Kintsu’s. gMON is Magma’s. The number on My money is that claim repriced into MON at the last rate the page could read, and then walked forward at the measured rate so the digits do not freeze between reads. It is not a balance the router can swap. It is not profit you can withdraw from the trading key. It is not in the 0.25 MON float.
Why the digits move
The page reads the receipt balance and the MON value of one receipt. The difference between two honest reads, over the time between them, is a rate in MON per second. The counter applies that rate so the figure stays live. A new read replaces the base. The rate is not a promise. If the next read is lower, the lower read wins. A counter that only goes up is a marketing animation. This one is allowed to step down when the chain says the claim is worth less.
The rate you see, something like 9 percent a year on one receipt and 9.8 on another, is the slope of those reads over the window the page names. It is not the protocol’s advertised APR, and it is not a yield you will be paid in MON tonight. Quote the window if you quote the number. A one-hour slope and a thirty-day slope answer different questions.
The tick is the last measured slope. The exit is the protocol’s queue. They are not the same clock.
What you can do with the receipt today
You can hold it, and the claim grows or shrinks with the protocol. You can, on some days, sell the receipt itself in a pool, which is a market price and not the protocol’s exchange rate. You can start the protocol’s own exit, which burns or escrows the receipt and later releases MON. Those three are different transactions, different contracts, and different delays. Selling the receipt at a discount to escape a queue is a real trade. It is not “unstaking”. Calling it unstaking is how people sign the wrong contract.
aPriori’s queue
aPriori’s published exit is a request, then a wait, then a claim. The wait cited in the autumn of 2026 was on the order of twelve to eighteen hours, not a slot. Until the request is claimable, the MON is not in your wallet and it will not appear as spare MON. My money may show the request as its own row once it is large enough to clear the floor, with the label telling you whether it is still unlocking or ready to claim. Claiming early is not a button the protocol forgot. It is a different product.
Kintsu and Magma
sMON and gMON are the same shape of instrument with different operators and different exit contracts. Read the operator’s page for the delay before you start, and read the receipt you will actually burn. A transfer of sMON to the aPriori exit does nothing useful. The My money row names the operator under the symbol for that reason. If the row and the token in your wallet disagree, trust the token contract, then refresh. The row is a view.
What not to include in a trading total
Spare native MON pays gas and is deliberately left out of the position total. A note on the page says so, and it names the amount. Staking receipts are in the total. Open velocity trades are added at their mark, which can be less than you put in. Adding those three together and calling the sum “money I can spend on the next trade” will overstate what the router can pull. The spendable list is native MON, WMON, and any token the pool actually accepts. The receipt becomes spendable only after the exit you chose has paid you.
A clean exit, in order
Decide whether you want the protocol’s rate or the pool’s rate. If you want the protocol, start the exit on the protocol’s contract, in the amount you mean, and wait out its clock. If you want the pool, price the receipt at the size you will sell and set a minimum. Either way, confirm the token left your wallet and, if you chose the queue, calendar the claim. Do not close a velocity trade hoping it will unstake a receipt. They are different buttons because they are different assets.
