The Monad token verification checklist
A ticker is not a contract. Check the address, that it has code on chain 143, that it appears on a public token list, its decimals, and whether other tokens share the same ticker before you trade it.

MONAF marks a token verified only when it is listed by a public source and eth_getCode returns bytecode on chain 143.
Two tokens can share a symbol. The token page lists every other contract using the same ticker.
